Nelson’s Distillery & School Finalists for Staffordshire Tourism & Good Food Awards
We are extremely excited and honoured to be named as one of the four finalists for Staffordshire’s Tourism & Good Food 2024 in the ‘Experience of the Year’ category for our Gin, Vodka & Rum School.
Following rigorous independent judging and an anonymous visit, we're thrilled to announce our place in the finals. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to offering an exceptional experience. Our guests not only gain insightful knowledge about distilling and their favourite spirits but also leave with their own tailor-made bottle of Gin, Vodka, or Rum.
Nelson’s Gin, Vodka & Rum School is a 5-hour experience that includes crafting your own spirit, a distillery tour, an enlightening talk and tastings of Nelson’s spirits. You'll select from a variety of botanicals to distil your unique 70cl bottle of Gin, Rum, or Vodka, which you can take home the same day.
A special mention to David and Andrea, the heart and soul of our school. They bring each and every session to life with their vast knowledge and experience. Their warm, welcoming approach ensures every experience is as engaging and memorable as the last. Without their dedication, the unique and fantastic experience our school offers simply wouldn't be possible.
The grand winners’ will be revealed at the black-tie awards ceremony on Thursday 14th March 2024 at Aspects at the National Memorial Arboretum. As we count down the days, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our fellow finalists and look forward to the ceremony with great anticipation. This nomination is not just for us; it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in making Staffordshire a must-visit destination.
